Delea Nouă - Calist Church
Delea Nouă Church was built in 1875 with the support of the hierarch Calist Stratonichias, vicar of the Metropolitanate of Ungro-Wallachia. In memory of this founder, the future Bishop of Argeș, Calist Ialomițeanu, ordained in 1891 as a priest for this church, chose his monastic name. Between 2013 and 2015 the church underwent extensive consolidation and restoration work, and it was reconsecrated by Patriarch Daniel in October 2015.
